Colors of the Desert {life by lens}

Colors of the Desert in the spring time....we take what we can get here in Tucson.   We DO have a pretty green desert as far as deserts go.  No sand dunes.  We have mountains (those trump a sand dune right?) we have saguaro cacti (they grow upwards of 65 ft and are pretty awesome to see).   Right now the trees and plants are flowering, we are having some awesome sunsets (they come and go....clouds really make it or break it!) Make sure to check out the entire blog circle--the link to the next photographer is after the last picture.

In case you missed my first post last month about Life by Lens and want to know what it is all about: Life by Lens is a project I am participating in with a wonderful group of photographers where our goal each month is to document the things that are important to us. Life by Lens will be published on the 20th of each month.  Last months post Life by Lens

These yellow flowers turn into beans (can be ground up into flour for baking)  Many animals eat the beans as they have a sweet taste.

Make sure you check out the next blog in the circle ---- Andrea Hartman Photography  who is located in Oregon.
